Playing as a droid, wouldn't work at all because people would treat you as an object....and who would follow a droid anyway?(companion wise) Now they could maybe fix that part, with all droid companions that you infect(like IG-88) with your sentience....but seeing as IG-88's mind was incredibly advanced AI, that was experimental I don't think will see a droid like that for this timeframe. Can't simulate that kind of stuff, even with a so-called sentient droid. And I'm not interested at all, I'd rather see actual species implemented. The gameplay would be heavily "logic" oriented and I don't really think people would go for that. If you really want to be a droid, I suggest mathematics. Have Fun !
