OpeningToEndgame
I am looking for what gear to get either of these 2. Do I grind out BM PvP gear? I havent done any flashpoint or ops yet. Also, which one is better for dailies?
Goldenstar
Depends on your spec. I prefer ashara for dailies since she's pure dps and xalek's shield stat is currently bugged to zero no matter what mods you put in him. Tionese + spare columi pieces from ops/flashpoints are probably a much better/quicker choice than BM gear.
OpeningToEndgame
I am dumb when it comes to flashpoints. Do you get currency from them? I am still relatively new to the game. A.k.A noob. Which FP would I focus on? I have ZERO pve gear atm.
scottberg
You should also take into consideration your light side/dark side leaning. If you are a light side sith I'd go with Ashara, and if you are dark side go with Xalek.
Xanikk
You should also take into consideration your light side/dark side leaning. If you are a light side sith I'd go with Ashara, and if you are dark side go with Xalek. That doesn't matter at all actually. Ignore this advice. Darkside/Lightside points have no bearing on what companion you can use or whether one is stronger than the other or not.
VenaliterFA
That doesn't matter at all actually. Ignore this advice. Darkside/Lightside points have no bearing on what companion you can use or whether one is stronger than the other or not. Wrong. While true in a sense, having a companion that "likes" same-alignment choices increases XP gain slightly (along with crafting perks) due to affection gains and their associated quests.
