Terkap Posted April 15, 2012 Share Posted April 15, 2012 I'm brand new to 50, not a pvp'er, and have full skill in armormech. What do I do for gear to get me ready for healing hard mode? Should I be running dailies to get mods and grinding my 116 rating oranges to try get the augment slot? (expensive because you can't RE the orange to get mats back) or should I be grinding regular gear to RE to blues then purples? Any advice? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The armormech gear is a waste since the base stats do not increase...only the armor and secondary stats do (terribad crafting system). So get a set of mod gear. Do dailies for the armorings/mods/enhancements. Should take you a week to get the gear. Find a geared tank and start running hardmodes. No need to even run normal modes. T5, FE, and Kaon are probably the easiest to start with. Some of the others have some fights that may require a learning curve for a new healer.
