You get a faster CD on your increase crit buff and also increase your HIB dmg by 8% If you get Eliminators the only buff you get is -1 ammo cost on HIB which is junk in comparison. Carrais Posted April 15, 2012 Share Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) Wrong. you're thinking of the PVE set bonuses. he's talking about the 15% crit chance on HIB on the eliminator PVP set. Most people use the Crit buff with a Relic, and since Relics are on a 2 Minute cooldown our 2PC Bonus for PvE Combat Tech is worthless... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Couver Posted April 16, 2012 Share Posted April 16, 2012 Most people use the Crit buff with a Relic, and since Relics are on a 2 Minute cooldown our 2PC Bonus for PvE Combat Tech is worthless...Huh? aside from being able to pop a relic and battle focus together (and adrenal), for pve the combat tech set bonus takes battle focus down to 1 minute 45 secs, Which is +25% crit for 15 seconds. That beats 5-7ish% of a relic. So I don't know who most people are but I choose to use power relics and adrenals with battle focus. Pvp = Eliminator. Pve = Combat Tech. Alternatively, you can use battlemaster gear and throw pve mods into it since the set bonuses tied to the armor mods are only on the new war hero and campaign armor.
