Maximonthegreat Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 so if a jedi (knight) was to fight a space marine who thinks the jedi woould win? id have 2 say its evenly match, point being a lightsaber can insta melt thru steel and steel has a high melting point, also wat space marines have is explosive bullets, and jedi block bullets roughly the same speed all the time so it just wouldnt reflect back. they also have the force to pull/push/chuck stuff. i think itd be 1 for 1 in a large scale battle, sith, on the other hand i thought would beat them, metal armor, lightning, choke, generally better over jedi combat wise. also, imperial guard or stormtrooper? Think about this, in Star Wars lore, a bounty hunter can even kill a Jedi Knight. Now imagine a Space Marine against a bounty hunter........Exactly. They are very different universes... the primary case being that the bulk of munitions used by the Imperium are projectile based. Jedi cant deflect bullets, let alone a bolter shell that would turn a normal man inside out in an instant. A psyker would prove more powerful than any Jedi ever to live. Games Workshop needs to drop THQ like a bad habit, they're easily one of the worst publishing companies ever. Also, this thread has been done before, the Jedi wouldn't stand a chance, they're peacekeepers at best and emergency troop support at worst. They're really only effective in the Star Wars universe because they're the top of the food chain, Space Marines fight things that are hundreds of times more horrific/deadly than Jedi on an almost daily basis.
