I was hoping for a build that would incorperate the new pulse cannon talent aswell as guard.

And ofc Hold the line, since getting Storm is now out of the picture - to reach pulse generator.

 

A rough estimate would be something like this :

In full BM gear this provides 52.76 dmg reduction. And im able to crit for up to 3k with my pulse cannon. ( With stim, power adrenal and trinket )

 

Just been trying it out today, and sofar the better game i had was on Void Star with aproximately 400k dmg done & 100k protection.

 

I intentionally didnt pick the shield cycler talent since im going for maximum dmg output and thus going with a dmg offhand. Not shield. Planning to use remodded BM Supercommando gear aswell for a 5% dmg increase. Ammo conserving might be a slight problem with this build though. But initial testing for me, havent been that bad.

 

Build provides good mobility with Hold the line, excellent survival when combined with dmg reduction talents and Ion Cell. You get the 6sec interupt ( wich is now cost free, thus not an ammo issue ) not to mention new and improved Pulse generator talent.

 

The more dmg oriented Pulse Generator spec ( with Ion Cell ) would imo be the following :

What would be a proper rotation or perhaps a starter? Never played tactics and I seem to get decimated worrying too much about fire pulse and sticky grenade always being on cd or always trying to tag gut. :( Edited by Wieser

i don't see any use of this build. you skip alot of damage in tactics tree for... well for what? 2% flat mitigation and 16% more armore (which in BM gear gives you not more than maybe 2% mitiigation if not significantly less due to diminishing)?

 

if they fix pulse generator which currenlty is not working at all i may keep my current test build:

running it with ion cell. would say around 15-25% damage overall but losing only 2-4$ damage mitigation.

edit: not to forget the extra utility i get, shorter cd on harpoone and pulse cannon, slow on gut....
