This will allow people to mark players who are tanks, healers, good or bad dps, and ninjas etc.. This should have been standard in release for an MMO. If they're on my friends list, it's because I have a good time running with them, and usually by association I know what class they are. You know. Paying attention. Time passes, alts are played and then abandoned and then picked up again.. it can be very hard to keep track of dozens of names over multiple characters, multiple servers and multiple years.
