BarcodeX
Well, I'm Dark Side rank II at about 2500 points and I want to switch to the light side (everyone is dark side and I wanna use green/blue sabers xD) is it too late for me to switch now (I'm lvl 17)? What would be the major downside of switching sides right now at my level OTHER than not being able to use Rank II or higher Light Side sabers for awhile? Frakthefriendly
the 2500 dark side pints will have to be filled with 2500 light side points to reach 0 again, then anything after that would be gravy.
jtzako
You can pick up the diplomacy crew skill and gain as much light or dark as you want provided you have the credits.
BarcodeX
True. In total I'll need 5k LS points to catch up. I guess I'll just stay DS then . Other than using different weapons, any other benefits to choosing DS over LS and vice versa? Edit: @ jt So I can just pick it up and pay it off? I may consider that put I already have 3 crew skills and they're pretty high up Edited December 16, 2011 by BarcodeX
jtzako
It counts as a crew skill, and each mission gains you a bit of LS or DS points. You can use that to recover from going the wrong way faster than normal questing. It still takes time since each mission your companion runs will take a few minutes. BarcodeX
Alright, I'll consider that.
Frakthefriendly
Alright, I'll consider that. Keep in mind--you have only been playing day or two--rerolling is an option. Think long term. Edited December 16, 2011 by Frakthefriendly

I'll just stay DS then. If I ever have to deal with those massive queues I'll just a LS sith on an not-full server
