gloaria Posted March 22, 2012 Share Posted March 22, 2012 its nearly useless in pvp expect for the crit ratings.. a ring on a ring just isnt a well thought out ability.. it has a 50% chance to proc when i have a 24% chance to shield.. ive had it proc in pvp 5 or 6 times and thats when ive had 5 or 6 ppl hitting me at once... for pvp it needs to be changed to 100% proc when u shield an attack... plz do something with it so it becomes more useful in pvp Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mapex Posted March 23, 2012 Share Posted March 23, 2012 (edited) I didn't like how the devs kind of copped out of the question regarding Defense/Shield being useless in PvP except for the DPS-only ACs as they don't do anymore damage than a tank or healer AC does. Unless they make it so Def/Shield affects Force/Tech I don't see a point to getting tank gear even in ranked WZs, further making Flame Shield proc useless for PvP. Maybe they can rework Flame Shield so that you get the proc upon taking damage or shielding an attack. Something like 15/30% upon shielding or 10/20% upon taking damage from an attack = cooldown-refreshed Rocket Punch.
