Clemsonalum
Is there a way for it to tell you that you already know something? If not then that really needs to be added.

Open up your crafting window and check to see if you already know the schematic.

I am sorry let me rephrase.... is there a simple way to do it like another game did where it would simply say "Already Known" or something to that effect. Now any other helpful suggestions? Clemsonalum
My suggestion is simple. no actually it is not because it makes you take down the annoying GTN and go back through the steps to get back to the view you were on before. Now move along bc it is obvious you are not here to help. What I am suggesting is in most games and is very easy to do. Now if you want to continue to pretend like the game is prefect and nothing can be done to improve it then I suggest the General Forum.

And I'd rather Bioware work on bug fixes than ease of access ideas for lazy people. Some bugs, there is no work around. There is a work around for this. There is a work around for this. As someone who enjoys crafting this is a very annoying problem so move along. Troll somewhere else kid. Also the team that would implement this would not be the same team solving bugs. Please learn about how things work kid then come back.

Especially a search function, because I also know this topic has been made before. So maybe you should take some of your own advice. Instead, you'd rather remain ignorant of tools that are already there for you. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=367853 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=364856 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=363084 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=363267 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=304531 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=355964 My point still stands. I'd rather them invest more in the team fixing the bugs than the team making something as trivial as this. Once again kid the group that would CREATE this would not be messing with bugs... is it not that hard to understand? This has NOTHING to do with the bug team. Timmygo
/signed. This is an annoying process to look in your book to see if you already know how to craft something. Trolling aside, Id rather them fix bugs first too.
Rotamortis
Yes. Open up your crafting window and check to see if you already know the schematic. You cannot have the crafting window open at the same time, and swapping back and forth is TEDIOUS. They need to at least add a subtext on schematics to show "already known" if your toon has learned the schematic. Then you know not to buy that one.
