Hi all:

Waiting patiently for the EGA E-mail and got this e-mail from Origin:

Your purchase has now been processed. To redeem your Product Registration Code:

3) Enter and confirm your Product Registration Code (the 20-digit code seen above) when prompted.

4) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your registration.

5) Install the game and begin playing*.

*Game does not launch until December 20, 2011.

I pre-ordered on the 13th and as shown:

Below is a list of valid Star Wars: The Old Republic codes that have been redeemed under this account.

12.13.2011 Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Early Game Access: Ready to patch

12.13.2011 Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Digital Deluxe Edition Pre-Order

Kind of confused why I got this e-mail today. Can anyone shed any light? (No I don't have access to start playing, checked the launcher)

Does this effect EGA in anyway or is it just for the actual game launch?

It is your CD key, If you got the digital edition. You can officially enter your key and start your subscription plan. It is not early access. You have to wait for notification from Bioware for your early access.
