Stennimar
I started on PvE server because all of my friends that wanted to play had felt they had enough of getting ganked while questing. But I actually learned to enjoy the challenge of it even though it was frustrating at times. What I am wondering is there any way to tell if a server is a good PvP server (both on worlds and in the WZ) or should I just randomly choose a PvP server and try it out? Any thoughts or suggestions regarding this would be most helpful.
wtfnonamefree
You should go to the PvP server forums and try to get a feel for the communities and their respective praises/complaints. I am on a RP-PvP server due to wanting to play with certain friends - they tend to have a healthy and balanced server population, because they are rare. Skanuttybuddy
You should know that PvP is just about the same as PvE. Ive been on Heddar Soongh since the early access. Ive leveled a 50imp and a 50repub and ive seen 1 instance of actual open world pvp. Its a shame but thats the way it goes.
Bamajawn
You've read this forum and you still want to PvP?
Stennimar
Thanks for the replies. Sadly I missed that there was a forum for the servers/servertypes. My bad. I need to learn to scroll further down the page I will check out those forums! And, yeah, despite the QQing I see, despite the ever present "LET'S PLAY HUTTBALL!", I like PvP and SWTOR in general.
