  1. After several situations where my shroud failed to resist after 1.2, this was my initial thought. It is just very strange, that it never happened before 1.2. Recently I was in a Huttball match in which I got pulled through shroud twice by a friend of mine. I asked him about his acc afterwards and he's running 93% giving him a 3% chance for this to happen. It was a short game and he attempted to pull me through shroud twice and was successful both times...with a 3% chance each! This might be just a freak occurance if it wasn't for all the other assassins I talked to that noticed the same (i.e. shroud failing to resist after 1.2 only). It just doesn't make sense, that I never saw it before 1.2 and now it's happening frequently. And to give you an idea of my sample size and awareness - I am 83 (or higher? haven't played for a while, spending most of my time in sanctuary^^) and record/rewatch every Huttball game since I turned 50 for a Huttball movie... Why hasn't it happened in one of the hundreds of games pre 1.2...sheer luck on my (and all the assassins I talked to about it) end ? It certainly isn't a general increase in acc in the playerbase. Has any assassin/shadow here ever been in a situation where shroud failed to resist before 1.2? Btw - that pulled through resolve claim is BS indeed!
  2. They even managed to kill Bloodline Champions. Whenever you feel bad about EA/BW, just take a look at that company - it could be much worse...
  3. Judging from the screen, I get the impression it is just a player (poorly) impersonating a cm...can player characters use numbers in their names? If it is legit, this is both hilarious and saddening...
  4. OP - Since you're obviously struggling with the meaning of certain terms, I highly recommend brushing up on your knowledge here: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/noone http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth as opposed to: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/everyone http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exaggeration
  5. OP pretty much summed it up. It's either mindless zerging (in huge numbers) or lopsided ganking (smaller numbers with uneven 'teams'). If you want to PvP with balanced teams and be able to influence the outcome of the fight, do instanced PvP. It's probably a mixture of nostalgia and a certain frustration with the 'losing' aspect of instanced PvP that makes the people demand open world PvP as they imagine it. To each his own I guess.
  6. ...hm, that sure was some bright fellow...pity you don't remember who...

  9. edit: Misread, feel dumb now xD
  10. Well, if you look at your buffs/debuffs, you'll find that bolster is still listed at 50. Always wondered whether I really get downscaled to 49. It doesn't seem to be the case, but it's hard to say, really. Thing is, that your gear (the expertise on it) is the factor that actually seperates you from the sub50s, so your idea won't work without changing the gear as well. This doesn't sound too practical tbh. Edit: On another note - there has already been some Dev comment on a Mentor system they want to implement at one point in the future. It essentially means downscaling your char to your mate's level (this includes losing abilities), so you might see your wish come true in a slightly different way (they were talking about PvE iirc, so not sure whether they intend to make it work for PvP).
  11. Mercs and Sorcs.^^ When they receive a buff, we are quite close to balance.
  12. I think you misunderstand.^^
  13. Even though I like the 'openness' (is that even a word?) of it and the comeback possibilities it offers, but somehow I can't stand the new wz. It ranks together with CW at the bottom, Zergstar being in the middle and Huttball way, way up there. So I agree on that. AV was my most hated bg, though - PvE (and vehicle) maps suck hard, so not agreeing there.
  14. With the 1.2 changes, Zergstar lost one flaw - the unnecessary elongated matches. Now, the only thing bugging me is the constant paranoia on defense with randoms ('Does someone mess up right now on the other door').
