Five leadership mistakes of the Galactic Empire

Well, heard about safe firing range? The range on the thing couldn't be that bad, and hey, two flies in one stroke.

Well the death star's superlaser range limit is 2mil kilos.

Edit: Wait nvrm thats not of its own core, but guessing the system core.

But anyway we don't know the range of just how big an explosion of Yavin's size would be.

HEY GUYS, this aint Star Trek trying-to-be-realistic stuff! is FANTASY SCI-FI... Go theorycrafting anywhere else

Empire were silly bads, they got a weapon of mass destruction, some badazz force skills made a bomb fit within a 2x2 meters hole, kboom and thats it! bringing logic to Star Wars is pure fail, deal with it

You mean bringing real life logic is fail, star wars logic however works because its the logic of star wars.

The Ewoks would like a word with YOU.

The AT-ST drivers would like a word with you, they were flooring the ewoks until Chewie hijacked one. Besides all we saw was maybe...what 3 scenes with ewoks ganging up on a few stormtroopers? A few stormtroopers isn't a legion, so who knows how well the ewoks actually did with beating down the legion of stormtroopers.

I liked the Forbes article, it brings up some good points.

I think Palpatine (and the Sith) were like real-life politicians. They had a great strategy to get into power and crush their opponents on the way into power. However, once they got into power, there was a weak plan to keep that power.

Yes, the Empire still existed decades after Palpatine's death, but was not a Sith-controlled government that ruled the entire Galaxy, as it originally was. Only through the talent of a few individuals, such as Thrawn, and sheer fighting force was it able to be worth anything more than a shadow of its former self.
