Been looking around trying to find an answer to these questions but havent so far.

 

1) Should a pve dps pyrotech incorporate combust in their build? does the MT benefit from having combust on the mob? or does the target only hit the powertech for 4% less damage.

 

2) do talents like superheated rail and puncture stack additively or multiplicately? thanks!

1.while combust is a good talent it doesnt raise our dps as a powertech so its better to invest it somewhere else. also the mob will do 4% less damage to everyone

 

2.I dont know if they stack additively or multiplicately but those two are talents are essential If you want your main attack to hit hard.

 

If you want a good talent build for Pyro Dps you can visit Exellen's guide although its not a standard TD pyro build its a good build nonetheless ;)

but if the mob does 4% less damage to everyone thats a ton of damage over a boss fight. Helps your tanks survivability and reduces stress on healers. If so, that should be mandatory.

even for nightmare modes boss doesnt hit that hard, it's more like a dps race and doing strats than actually worrying about the boss's damage at all, so as a DPS its your job to down the boss and not get hit by predictable incoming damage, this way not only you are helping the healers you are helping the tanks as well since they can have more heals when they need it
