tomhoffman
Hello! I noticed that half the armors for JK/SW look armored, even though the Jedi/Sith in the movies didn't wear armor(Excluding Darth Vader). What do you think?
Pangeri
Well, this is about 4000 years before episode 1, so maybe things changed since then, like strong weave or something. Plus, in the original trilogy there were precious few Jedi around plus they were forced underground, so I doubt they had the resources to make armoured suits. The empire did, as seen with Vader, and some other Sith did wear armour according to extra lore and novels. But also it is just a matter of opinion of the person needing to gear themselves. Anyways, interesting observation to bring up
ShamiPemas
at the time of the movies, the Jedi were not at war. At the time of this game, the Jedi were in a full scale war. Armor would not need to be warn outside of war. Look at the Armor that Obi Wan Kenobi wears during the Clone Wars tv show, looks very similar to that worn by the Guardian on the cover and in the trailers. Mechavomit
Obi-Wan had full clone trooper armor during major battles in the CW.
underdogwin
The movies are a small glimpse into the Star Wars universe. That would be like watching a movie that takes place during WWII and watching GI's in their dress uniforms and saying that soldiers in WWII never wore helmets. Most of the movies take place off the battlefield. Darth Vader was only wearing armor to keep him alive.
