Have respec'd my shadow main character twice and a full Kinetic spec for me is much better overall for solo PvE (with a DPS spec Qyzen) Group PvE content (Heroics, Flashpoints) and PvP. Just my opinion... I roll a Vanguard as an Alt, and I also find Tanking in group content with Shadow Tank much better with good damage too.
