If you are healer, you need full complect of healing abilities. If gunnery, you need at least Demo and +33% to Full Auto. Assualt specialist on my mind is really sh*t, but thats arguable P.S. As for pvp, in commando's case heal and gunnery trees are rather strong by themselves. Also for PvE you can use hybrid gunnery (-cost and grav round)/ healing spec.
