Kallath Posted February 5, 2012 Share Posted February 5, 2012 I am debating between going with Retractable Blade or with Heat Blast and was hoping for some guidance. Mapex Posted February 5, 2012 Share Posted February 5, 2012 Because Retractable Blade sucks for damage (we have tons of +Fire damage/crit but no +Internal damage/crit talents), it's only purposes are to: 1) Provide a DoT to enable the use of Rail Shot 2) Proc auto-crit Rail Shot (21 points into AP) Since Shieldtechs have Ion Gas Cylinder to provide a DoT for Rail Shot, Retractable Blade doesn't really do anything for you.
