IronPirate Posted February 2, 2012 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Is there a difference between the Light/Medium/Heavy "Customizable" armor? Why I'm asking: As a Bounty Hunter, I can wear any kind of armor, and being that I can slot the gear how I want, if there is a "Medium" helmet that I think looks cool, am I losing out on any "armor/stat" multipliers by choosing that over a heavy helmet? Dremic Posted February 2, 2012 Share Posted February 2, 2012 you are losing armor rating that is all though.. lets say i have two of the same guardian armor mod that has 116 rating both give 116 rating to armor +40 str +40 endurance the stats dont change but the armor rating changes depending on the armor type armor rating for 116 light : 150 medium : 300 heavy : 450 these aren't real numbers just putting it into perspective. Dravinix Posted February 2, 2012 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Yes,there is a bit of difference in armor value.My girlfriends main is an OP,which of course normally wears medium armor,but she found a ligt armor moddable headpiece that she likes.The ligt armor headpiece has a slight bit less armor than a medium armor headpiece with the same mods in it.
