okay so im level 46 and i want to be a tank, but for the life of me i cannot find the right build for it. also ive been using jaesa willsaam for the longest time so my other companions are without any armor. Im thinking of switching over to malavai quinn and i know he needs cunning to become an effective healer but idk where to get him proper armor because im on voss and theres no equipment vendor other than the regular crappy armor vendor and the commendation vendor....but i spent my commendations on my guy. So pretty much my questions are:

1. can somebody give me an effective skill tree for a tank

2. can somebody tell me what stats the tank primarily needs

3. should i use quinn and if so where can i go to get him some nice armor (price is not a worry)

A set of lvl 40 pvp armor is cheap. Low quality(given that you're 6 levels over), but cheap/easy to get. Other than that, try the gtn? Get orange gear and mod it.

I'm assuming your a Juggernaught? If you want to tank the most important thing is staying alive. So just spec all your skills in Immortal, pick armor that concentrates in Endurance/Defense. You will be so tough that you don't need Quinn. Just pick a DPS companion like Jaesa or Vette to help you clear through mobs quicker. If you need stats for them, just buy them current level greens from the GTN, they're always cheap.
