cbantug Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 I'm about to craft a rakata adrenal and I can't remember if I should be stacking Power or Surge. I think I remember reading somewhere on here that Crit was now our lowest stat on the totem pole. Surge increases the damage of your crits and power increases your regular damage? I don't know. shucksy Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 If you're itemised for crit/surge then go for power, I have 80% crit modifier due to surge items, if I pop a surge adrenal it only goes up to 91% where as my power one adds flat 300 extra damage on my HiB, which can then benefit further from critting. On both toons I've played, one in full Champion gear, replacing some of the accuracy/power with power/surge and crit/surge enhancements, I found that a surge adrenal didn't really boost my crit damage as much as I thought. Diminishing returns and what not. A truly marginal percentage for something that was already in the 80% range. I think Power is the way to go.
