Im trying to decide what one of the lvl 40 pvp armor´s to get for my vanguard im running whit a tactics build should i go for the assault, patrol or centurion one ? any comment would be great cuz iv got no clue what im doin ^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cordo Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 you raise a good question my friend. I am, and always have been a tactics vanguard myself. The type of armor set you go for is totally up to you, but I personally like as much pure dmg as possible, so I like the assault. You can also mix and match if you feel like making a more "balanced" armor set (I would compare this to Mario in mariokart- not great in any one area, but decent in all of them). if I might go a bit further, however, I would encourage you to just save up any commendations (PvP/Merc) and spend them once you hit 50 (unless you're almost maxed out). Save your commendations, convert them to mercenary commendations so you can get champ bags at level 50. Your normal pve gear is absoloutely 100% fine for pvp all the way up to level 49. AnthSD Posted January 30, 2012 Share Posted January 30, 2012 Patrol looked the most aggressive dps wise but its for commandos with alacrity. Fortuneately all the alacrity is in the enhancement mods so they're easy to swap out. I bought 2 green 2 blue and 1 purple replacements on the trade network for 8k.
