Also there are animals on our world that have been here for as long as us, they still haven't learnt to speak English. Also the need for evolution is not needed as much because of the technology. Also look at us, our body still lives like 10,000 years ago, even though we live in the modern day. That's just my opinion on it though. The way Wookiees lungs are formed prevent them from speaking basic IIRC. On Topic though, the OP hasn't paid much attention to the Star Wars universe take a gander on Wookieepedia. Chiss, were Humans at one point, Neimoidians come from Duros as someone pointed out already. Just because its not in your face doesn't mean its non-existant. Military tech becomes greater, Old Republic fleet would just get flattened by a single star destroyer. The death star would have been unthinkable in design and function back in the old republic. The Old Republic Navy was one of the greatest in the Galaxy. And was the first faction to have the Star Destroyers. Just sayin'. Old Republic fleet = Republic fleet in the Clone Wars. Old Republic encompasses the Republic from its founding to its turn into the Empire. Then its the New Republic after that. So... And in the Empire's case it depends on how far down the line. 25,000 years of naval improvements versus super weapons that blow up every 15 minutes. Yes I know that but if we just threw two fleets from different time periods together, the clone/empire fleet would outright destroy them. I'm not talking about the turning into the Republic fleet in the clone wars, im talking about if you took two fleets from the different eras....each and every time the Empire/Clone fleet would destroy an Old Republic fleet. patoman Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Evolution that is physically noticeable is supposed to take hundred of thousands of years (yea skin/fur/coloration can change faster in the case of people and moths, though that itself is a minor change, compared with that of other hominoids compared with **** sapiens). Though... Apparently it did happen with the loads of very human like derived species, like the one with dreads and reading stuff with touching it, and the blind people, and a host of others.
