Need Help with PVE Commando want to do DPS

Hey Guys, I am lvl 17 Commando and I need advice as to which direction would be better DPS for PVE Gunnery or Assault or a Combo of Both? If any advice please post a thread here or which direction

Full gunnery aside from holding back 10 points to put into Assault. Boosting accuracy past 100% translates the excess into more armor penetration, stockstrike is about the only interrupt you get so boosting damage is good since you'll be using it often. Parallatic Combat Stims is better than it looks. After burning your ammo down to 3 or even 2 regen levels, that 1 cell boost can mean the difference between running dry after survivng a stun or coming out of the fight ready to keep going. It's not more armour pen, it's defense penetration. You need 105% to never miss in PvP and against same level PvE, more to never miss against tanks (in the area of 130+ which is unreachable but that's fine because grav rounds gets an extra 10%).
