Arsenal Spec with Supercharged Gas

Wondering if anyone has tried this. Seems interesting, giving the ability to filler heal rather than filler with blasters on boss. Also another heat dump, and cuts unload heat in half. And gives a 10% damage buff when you dump the charges, been testing and most of my abilities hit as hard with healing ammo vs armor piercing, a few that don't, but the 10%, extra heat dump, and cutting down unload cost might make up for that. Just wondering if anyone out there has tried it. Edited by lKurganl

The damage gain from using Supercharged Gas would be less than the damage gained from using HVC. The heat options for using Supercharged Gas are decidedly worse.

You trade 8 heat off every Rail Shot and 8 heat vented on crits from Unload/Missles for:

8 heat off a single Unload for every SCG used

16 heat vented right away when SCG used.

To get the most possible *potential* heat reduction using SGC, you'd need to be spamming Rapid Shots. That would come out to 24 heat vented/saved every 18(10xRapid Shots=15s, 1xUnload=3s) seconds from SCG usage.

In the same amount of time, *again using a skill priority that gets the most heat reduction, you save 16 heat from two Rail Shots, land 6 Unload hits(Assuming 2 Unloads, you could get 3), and land 6 missile attacks(4xTracer,2xHSM). Assuming a 25% crit chance, that's 3 crits on average, for 24 heat vented.

That's 40 heat from HVC, and 24 from SCG. That's using the most possible heat saved/vented while using SCG too. In reality, if you're using Rapid Shots to manage your heat like you should be, you'd be lucky to cast SCG once every minute or so.

Even if using SCG/CS-Cylinder would net you more damage per ability, which I doubt it does, the heat restrictions it would place on your ability usage would be crippling by comparison.

Edit: As for the other point, if you're off-healing by design you would be much better off using the full hybrid spec. Rapid shots healing is extremely weak.
