Diplomacy is it worth it??

So I am a healer and chose to do biochem and bioanalysis so I figured to choose diplomacy to gain more medical supplies. Was this a smart move? Is Diplomacy worth it???

Yes it is, you get blue and epic items needed for higher level recipes in Biochem.

 

Diplomacy also increases your dark or light points!!

I would say "It depends".

 

For purple items... the only thing (other then implants) they're used for is items that are "You use only". (You have to have Biochem at the level of the item to use it).

 

So if you're only looking for items to use for yourself... you can easily buy the odd puprle item you need off the GTN. (and once you have the purple version it's reusable so no need to keep making the the blue versions)

 

Now the Blues can be used by anyone... so if you're looking to make a lot of med packs/sims/adrenals for alts/other people or your alts, then yeah you'll want to use diplomacy to get the items.

 

But if it's only for yourself, skill up on greens, then you can buy enough Blue/Purple materials to REing to get the purple items you need for youself and you can use the 3rd slot for a money maker (like Underworld Trading or Slicing)
