Zaodon
The warzone wait for even imperials is becoming noticeable. A "server" is not, in fact, 1 single server, its a cluster of servers (often virtualized). Two "servers" (clusters) have data stored separately from one another. Its why you can have diff characters on diff servers. Anyway, to make cross-server Warzones work, they would have to implement communication across servers to do the following: 1. find a server to hold the match on (one thats not overloaded) 2. hold match 3. record updates for each character back across to the server they came from. Technically speaking, it does require new tech, but its not all that difficult to do. Edited January 24, 2012 by Zaodon
Kyrinic
The average computer nerd knows jack **** about computer networking /Bachelors in Computer Networking But there has to be major stability/stress testing going on before we get even close to this.
