Avanaco Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Soooo... my guild kinda big time over recruited on tanks, so I'm looking at being stuck dpsing as a PT. Of course I leveled shield tech, so I'm not familiar at all with PT DPS. In short are there any currently accepted "optimal" dps build for PVE? Thermal detonator is situational as an opener and when you aren't in range and lets you PvP like a beast There is also the Carolina Parakeet hybrid build that allows you to both tank and dps effectively although slightly worse than a full tank or full dps. Means you can jump in where needed and not have to spend heaps on respeccing constantly. The main talents needed are flame shield, shield vents, jet charge, superheated rail and prototype accelerator.
