I jumped on Age of Conan today to see the instancing compared to SWTOR. I was shocked that AOC instances much less than SWTOR and many more players in the zones and cities. I entered a zone and saw over 15 people really close by and I wasnt even playing AOC lol. People all around me and its never like that in swtor because there is less instancing and no shards. Remove shards now, if ever. They need to optimize the game in environments with large numbers of players first. I know I drop to 1-5 fps if more than 10 players are nearby.
