Anarchi Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 For those that are worried about server populations showing as medium or heavy, dont panic. In my opinion what they will be doing is keeping a tight reign on the server pops, keeping the indicators low so people will filter evenly across the current servers and gradually increase the yeilds as more people get in. This will keep the server loads balanced. If they opened up the loads completely they could have loads on 1 server and little on the rest without an option to resolve. Easier to maintain if they keep a tight control and make you think to create your chars on less populated servers if you havent preregistered your guild. Reason: To limit the amount of server merging needed in future as population will at the very least drop alittle after a month or two.
