Perilla Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 My CE order (order date 8/2/11) with Amazon has been listed as Estimated Delivery on Dec. 22 with 1-day shipping. But this morning, it automatically switched to release date shipping with estimated delivery of Dec. 20. Looks like Amazon got the go ahead to start shipping the CE before the 20th. PathosBedlam Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 All this shipping malarkey should have been sorted out months ago, or at the very least, they should have assumed that once a release date was known, they would be able to have the game shipped to the peoples doors in plenty of time for the live service after any pre-order time period of early access. Why is it, they can build epic games, and then fail on the most simple of things. Once you have a release date, which we had 2 months ago, start getting the ball rolling on when retailers will be allowed to ship out physical boxes. Obviously digital copies won't make any problems for shipping day, but if we are going to have our game codes in time to keep playing, we need our boxes before the live service starts. It's a LIVE game, not a single player game, so sending it a year early would not have mattered. I hope Bioware and EA both learn the right lessons from this fiasco, and don't let it happen in the future. This may be their first MMO, but it may not be the last. Pathos.
