6TH day of no respeccing

yes after 7 days it gets reset to 0. Although it apparently doesn't tell you that until after you agree to pay X credits, then it says "Oh looks like it's been 7 days so this one is free."

It does not however go down each day you don't respec, just gets set to 0 after 7.

In my previous MMO experience it was 30 days before the price started to drop. No clue about this game, though.

Well it hasnt dropped at all x.x Its actually been increasing even if Im not respeccing.

Wait so the only way of knowing how much it went down is if I actually agree to pay? :o

so your beginning to see a trend.. up up up... that answers your question doesn't it

so you haven't managed to save 70k in 6 days? I'm 33 and I make and spend more than that daily on my guy effortlessly I might add

This is a very important issue Bioware.

Resolve it.

Respecing should also have a price cap based on your level, and should be basically free before 25. Maybe a 10,000 cap for like, 10 respecs. (So if you're under level 25, a respec will never cost more than 10,000.)

Then the ceiling can gradually go up.

Before 25 people should be ENCOURAGED to experiment. Not punished severely for it.

Like, if I respec 4 times on my level 14, the cost goes up to what? 40,000? How much was it? That's basically "You are stuck with what you have" numbers for that low level.

Also, dual spec at... say, 40? (Or 10, whateves)

And this is why dual specs AND dual ACs are needed.

Dozens of groups being held back from doing flashpoints because no healers/tanks are on is not fun game design.

If BW had made good on their design statement that 'any group can do any flashpoint' dual specs and ACs wouldn't be needed. But they didn't, so they are.

ITs not a problem of saving. It seemed to double with every respec so I spend 70k now, it costs 140k next time. So I was waiting for the price to go down before respeccing

why should you even have to respec that often? you shouldn't need to. maybe once every few weeks, if even that. if you want to play two different characters, level up two different characters. its so easy to level up and get mid-high level gear that it isnt hard.

FYI I respecced 4 times at 30 so I can test out all the specs. Now I have access to the last tier talent so I wanna test it out again to see if I have a preference of which Id like to use

Im ok with dual spec but dual AC? No thanks o.o

Imo they should put like..a test area with some dummies where you can respec all you want but youll if you leave the place, the spec you had when you left it stays. That way people can respec over and test out the new abilities n stuff n see if they like the feel of it n stuff!

That way if you find out that you dont like the new spec, you wont have to go back and pay another respec fee to go back!

Not just dummies, put instanced rooms with actual enemies that would drop no loot, and you would suffer no penalty from death.

The enemies would be "Examples" of what you would face at an appropriate level world.

Not to point out the obvious here guys. Why would Bioware put a system in that WoW or Rift had when you guys clearly have rejected those games?

Would that not mean the logical thing to do is keep everything the same?

Umm...What are you talking about? o.o

Dual ACs? NO WAY! I never expected my powertech to heal if I felt like it, that's what my mercenary is for.

I disagree. This is not important.

Nothing stops you from playing the game if you've chosen the wrong talent. It's a user error, not a system error.

Respecing should also have a price cap based on your level, and should be basically free before 25. Maybe a 10,000 cap for like, 10 respecs. (So if you're under level 25, a respec will never cost more than 10,000.)

I somewhat agree to what you're saying, but only because I agree that it should be encouraged to experiment. However, at level 14 there are no talents that completely change the way that the class plays. At level 20 maybe, but that's because you get a new skill that helps define the talent spec you chose; the early points assist in paving the way with how talent specialisation would work, but essentially the core skills are exactly the same.

If I take my selfish views out of the picture and think like how a new player would whom has not been spoilt by previous MMO experiences - it's actually quite forgiving if you make a mistake.

Also, dual spec at... say, 40? (Or 10, whateves)

I've nothing to say about this because I believe that it will be implemented into the game due to the many requests.
