Sageofice Posted January 11, 2012 Share Posted January 11, 2012 so we both know there are two sets for that often get mistaken for each other that commandos get the combat tech(?) has surge and crit and seems like more of a set for a dps commando but has a vanguard set bonus and of course the eliminator has a commando bonus. but which one is better in the long run the only thing you really get with eliminator is +15% crit with HIB but with the like possible 100+ crit your probably missing is it worth it damage wise or would just getting the best armor bonuses truly be the way to go? if any one can run a damage comparison to add to this it would help alot thanks. Sageofice Posted January 11, 2012 Author Share Posted January 11, 2012 yes normally that is the case it would be that you get the set for your class and spec and the bonuses go with that but in this case you have the option to go with accuracy and power but missing out on crit and surge which are a key point in pvp if im not to lazy later ill try to add up the stat difference but idk as of yet Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And funny how it's the Champion Eliminator's Rifle instead of Champion Combat Tech's Rifle. ^_^ You could always swap the enhancement slot for something with the stats you desire. Praying to get plenty of duplicate tokens, getting the Combat Tech pieces, ripping the mods out of those and putting them in the Eliminator gear. But that's a work in progress.
