dahnks
My current desktop build: intel core i5 cpu @ 2.67GHz 16GB ddr3 ram (lol overkill I know) geforce gtx 550 ti msi p55-cd53 I get about 6 fps on a good day. Flashpoints and warzones are more or less unplayable. I just bought and installed the new graphics card and the ram hoping it would help, but I honestly don't notice any improvement in performance. I'm positive all of my drivers are up to date and all that good stuff. What I'm thinking now is that my cpu is completly bottlenecking my system. Does that sound right? I've looked into upgrading but my mobo is socket 1156 LGA and the i5 2500k that everyone loves only works on the newer 1155 LGA socket. I'm also not sure I know enough to replace my mobo. Any suggestions/advice/help? Thanks!
Ringzero
There's nothing in those system specs that should be gimping you to anything anywhere even close to 6 fps. What resolution are you using? What graphics settings are you using in the game? Use HWMonitor to check your processor temperatures. Do an anti-virus scan to make sure your computer is not seriously sick. Do diagnostics on your RAM to make sure none of it is bad. Other than that, I have no idea. dahnks
All of the RAM is functioning properly. I'm running 1600x1050 with all of the lowest other graphics settings possible.
Daedricshots
Your system is fine. Its the programming of warzones and high traffic areas that are dragging your fps down. Something bioware hopefully addresses soon.
dahnks
I mean I'm talking my screen is so choppy in warzones that people are usually teleporting across my screen. And no, this is not a connection issue.
