StuartCJL
Dear George, SW:TOR is a great game, and is a worthy companion to your existing legacy and to any future SW merchandise. We know you put in a lot of effort in the quality of your own directed productions (eg. the movies) before you release it to the public World for their enjoyment of a fictional but marvelous universe. Sadly, the same cannot be said about your supplies. The way your suppliers, EA, Bioware, Origin, Amazon, among others is currently not doing a very good job in providing quality customer satisfaction, in the manner of how this particular product is launched. Give and take, the BETA tests were very good, as everyone should agree. Early Game Access is a brilliant attempt to provide access to eager crowds in an orderly manner, albeit awkward, but gallant. However, the supply chain and delivery mechanism is way beyond acceptable. Do you know that a lot of people placed order to your suppliers before end-Nov 2011, and only to have the items start shipping on 21st Dec 2011 (one month after order) and potentially reach the rest of the world no later than 17th Jan 2012 (TWO MONTHS after order.) Throughout the years, you have kept many of your fans delighted and happy. This is not a fake number but at least 800million to 1 billion people recognizes Star Wars by reputation. The number of Star War fans (and those who know Star Wars) greatly outnumbers people who knows EA, Origin, Bioware and Amazon combined. But come end 2011, your selected team has definitely brought forth lots of unhappiness into your beloved Star Wars family. A lot of people, in the tens of thousands, although having bought and paid for the items very early in 2011, will be left disappointed and empty handed this Christmas 2011 (in a VERY VOLATILE and UNCERTAIN GLOBAL ECONOMY period) and will be left holding a box of sadness in early 2012, when everything festive is over. And, for some reasons, your team has decided that the OCEANIC/ASIA PACIFIC region is unworthy of your Star Wars products. They have not done anything proper (nothing whatsoever) to address the concerns of people in these part of the World. I am sure, in your own thoughts, this is plain disrespectful to your global Star Wars fans in the eastern part of the World. George, we love you and we love Star Wars. And we beg and plead you to look into this particular issue with your suppliers and how things can be made better. Thanks for listening. Zebede
I don't think even George Lucas cares about the franchise now either. I think Bioware have done an amazing job, this is the first mmo I will be subscribing to for a long time. NimTheRat
George will become interested in the game when he realizes the great untapped potential for changing all of the early quests, and possibly the voice-acting, long after they've been initially released. StuartCJL
Dallas and his production/dev thing did a great job!! There will be no astronomical SW:TOR sales volume without these guys. Like I said, along with everyone else, the launch and supply team is the main culprit at this moment, and will be case-study for other competitive game developers too. & Dallas can only go OMGawd, do you know the crazy amount of pressure I got from top management to release the game on-time, before X-mas? What/why is our other (namely supply) department/partners doing to F this up?
