MBMjollnir Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 I'm wondering why people can ambush me out of town. Is it because it's a contested area? I'm just trying to do my quests with my level 26 gunslinger but random level 50 players start killing every now and then. Is there a way to prevent that, like an option I would've missed?because it's getting pretty annoying that random ***holes can kill me without me accepting so kind of duel or anything. jtzako Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Are you on a PvP server? If so that is why and you should probably start fresh on a PvE server. Z_Wisdom Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Sounds like you are on a PVP or RPPVP server. Or somehow you became flaged for PvP on a PVE server. Skodan Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 if you are on a pvp server thats the risk you take, if you are on a pve server then its more than likely you flagged yourself for pvp this can occur if you are in a group and your groupmate is already flagged for pvp and you then use a skill on him such as your one that increases your stats by 5% for 60minutes which is used on the whole group, or if you heal them, put guard on them, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
