Brother in UK, Me in Seattle....

I was hoping someone could tell me what we need to do to play together on same server.

Do we need to buy same version, as in country specific version? Do we need to do anything to enable this? We played WOW together and there was a little rigmarole involved. I heard the process with SWTOR is much easier, even non-existent. But perhaps there is something I am missing.

Take the same Server thats it

You just buy a copy from local retailers,

 

Same client for both.

 

On the server select screen you can choose which region you want

yea, just make sure server name is the same.

 

you can choose either North American or Europe servers, depending on the other people you want to have access to.

Just make sure you pick a US West Coast server, so you have less latency than he does. That'll help you play better than your brother. As someone with a brother myself, I find that very important. Edited January 14, 2012 by imtrick
