yechidah Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 I pre-ordered from GameStop in Ireland on July 21 as soon as pre-orders opened. Yet I only got my pre-order code on July 28 too. A friend of mine also got his on July 28, but I believe he pre-ordered before then by a day or two. It seems that BioWare only sent out the codes then, as it is a bit too coincidental that it's all the same date. If this is true then I am really not happy, particularly with how slow the invites are going today. If you wanted the CE in the UK then GAME was the only place to go. They had the codes from the start but said they were only going to send out the codes 1 day a week. I got my CE code from Gamestop the first day it was available. It took a phone call and waiting a couple of hours. But sometimes you have to be proactive to get what you want. I preordered from game late (october) but they still took me nearly a month to send a code. Judging by the current rate I'll probably get in next week sometime. Yep thats my point, at the time the only way to get a code instantly was to go instore and order a physical copy and get a code handed to you. In the remote chance that a publisher reads this; stop giving these idiots exclusives, it tarnishes your name too being involved with their swindles and incompetence. GAME isnt the only option for getting the CE. Gamestation stocks it too. Granted its the same company and every issue applicable to GAME is applicable to Gamestation, but you had a choice of company title and email fonts! I like everyone else could not enter the pre-order code until 26th July. It sucks but we will get in when we get in, no point getting upset about it as you wont get in any earlier.
