I have Annihilate now and I'm looking to dump my skill points into another tree. Which is best to do so for a PvE Mara, Carnage or Rage? Thanks ahead of time. Sinkaro Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 If you're going PvE Mara and have your 31 points in anni, your best bet is the carnage tree: dual wield mastery and defensive forms are big, as well as that one talent that reduces AoE damage... Kresse Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 I'm set to go 3/3 DW mastery, then go for Ravage CD in Rage, Force Crit (not GREAT, but it leads up to increased Vicious Slash crits). If not that, then definitely go 2/2 Defensive forms, 2/2 Defensive Roll and 3/3 accuracy in Carnage. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chexstryker Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 I'm not exactly sure about this but I think bleed crits are affected by Force Crits. If so then that Rage talent may be useful. Otherwise 3/3 Dual Wield mastery is a must (those are always my first 3 points). Defensive forms is a lot less important in groups and in raiding. In those situations you shouldn't be getting hit, if you are you are doing something wrong or your tank is failing. Either way you probably just died.
