  1. Pot, meet kettle. Please enjoy your stay. LOL
  2. Just curiosity talking here, not trying to derail your success in removing a bot farmer from an area BUT... How did you recognize the toon to be specifically a bot? What actions or indicators were presented which tipped you off as to the nature of this particular toon as being a bot? Knowledge is power, thanks!
  3. I personally don't much buy into an achievement system being necessary to enjoy this game BUT this is the information age, there are many many people who want to know how many rakghouls they have killed and want some type of record, reference or title/award that would go along with it. I don't see it as a negative for the game to implement such a system to accommodate those who are playing with those achievements in mind either in place of or complimentary to the story line. A simple UI option to "show/hide" achievements would solve the possible distraction factor or immersion breaking that it could have on certain players' experiences in the game. As for addressing the "I don't want it because I don't want to be excluded from X guild for not showing them a report card on my achievements" point, my observation is that a guild with those minimally important requirements as DPS and KILLS/achievements are still going to have those requirements even if there is not an in-game system to prove them. Joining such a guild will be a relatively quick learning experience on compatibility between it's hard core and casual players and there will be division and derision anyway. Let those guilds who enjoy the numbers and intricacies of constantly tweaking a raid group have their method of screening and controlling what they consider quality enlistees. It really doesn't hurt a casual gamer to be excluded from a hard core guild based on achievements as there is very low likelihood that getting in 'stealthily' won't work out in the long run anyway. Again this goes back to the premise that for a diverse player base, diverse methods of rewarding or encouraging the players should be considered and implemented. Having an option TO do something or not is better than not having any option at all in my opinion. I'd personally never join a guild that requires some sort of achievement proof to join, and I would very likely turn off any UI prompts that track my achievements in-game while I am playing... but I don't see any harm in giving the option to have those for other types of players.
  4. Nice tip, not for the faint of heart or those who rush/haven't the patience to dis/re-assemble correctly but well worth the time if the time is well spent doing this.
  5. Cathar would be nice but what I'd really like to see is just a racial choice labelled "Alien". The sliders would be for head, body, color, arms & legs. Using the sliders to mix and match various 'common' alien parts to make the one you want. All the dialogue would be universal for an 'alien' species and didn't have to directly address the specific race. I don't see that as too difficult and could accomodate easilly 6 or more of the most requested choices just in slider options. Heck, they could even go so easy as to just have a slider that sets which one 'alien' you are playing and then leave the color, size, scars, eyes etc sliders in as they are. That'd be what I'd like to see!
