  1. I am usually very successful with rage spec in Voidstar because of the ability to aoe everyone that herds at the door but killing healers as carnage spec in voidstar I find very successful the only time I can easily kill healers in annihilation when I can interrupt all their healing channels. This fails a lot on scoundrels and operatives who have big instant cast healing
  2. Congrats to Keyboard Ninja on the nomination hopefully the sentinel community can work with some changes for the better. Now to my personal response to some of the questions brought up in this thread as my sentinel is my main and I can do well on him in HM and Nim ops currently in both the combat and watchman specs with combat being my personal favorite, and an avid PVP player with plenty of warzone experience post 2.0 although I have not touched ranked very much. (have been focusing on progressing through operations) Combat RNG Watchman Focus I am not an expert of focus so I may be wrong on several points there but I stand firmly behind what I've talked about and suggested on the other 2 specs
  3. It will be fun and give people nice free companions! Remember Folks anyone can participate in this guild wide event. You don't have to be a member of the guild to participate just able to post your screenshots on the guild website
  4. I would also like some verification of this. I can understand that method of thinking however because of the nature of the dispatch animation and when the damage actually registered but I find that difficult/impossible to accomplish without proof via a combat log or some sort of video. That being said, I do love this guide KeyboardNinja and I agree with everything here except that I use master strike a bit more often than most and I find that it depends on the situation although generally I like putting it in the second PS window especially if I can get dispatch and BS in the first window while getting the OA proc before MS. This is most easy to accomplish with zen active naturally.
  5. +1 KeyboardNinja I take offense to that. not sure if you've ever seen me play that would make you that ,but I do not consider myself an expert in the class regardless just a player that knows my class and spec.
  6. obviously join covenant of the phoenix because we're awesome! I prefer mumble any day to no voice chat pugs so I totally understand
  7. you all were either undergeared, or he enraged, after the nerf on surge dps was reduced and the enrage timers were not. They were already things that popped up before on some hard mode fights and with the cutback on dps unless if you're dps is really good you're really going to hit enrage timers quite possibly at even around 10% health. If he enrages and he smacks you with a crystal you can absolutely be instant killed. I was doing the HK fight in FE and after he enraged his stabs hit for a little over 30k and his burst fire hit for about 18k a tick I Believe. I will say that it is possible with a good tank and heals to survive on enrage timers. When I tank I can normally survive for a good while after he enrages.
  8. game is too easy= most likely lvl 30 player that obviously hasn't done any hm battle of illum or hard or nightmare mode operations. yes, some hard modes are easy but that's probably because the group is geared and experienced.
  9. I had this bug and it is terrible, because with the ship not dying the way it should because of bugs with it and the consoles this fight is many, many times harder than it should be.
  10. this bugged for us last night as well and totally ruined the night and we got no gear. the ship and the turret were buggy so he kept pounding our group with damage even though we were using interrupts on his missile casts and interrupting his flame sweeps.
  11. If this happens, my dps assassin madness hybrid is totally killed who wasn't op in the first place. Increasing cost of stance hopping is fine it is rather simple to stance hop. Totally killing the amount of healing death field does in pvp is annoying but, since in pve it should still work rather well although to me it doesn't make any sense since it was fine the way it was since it was stronger than flame sweep but still significantly less useful than death from above even with recklessness. But, totally changing what raze does and completely killing my rotation will force me to respec and totally change my assassin. I most likely won't be playing my lvl 50 anymore if these changes occur because I enjoyed playing the class because of how happy I was with my rotation even if OP classes could beat me.
  12. minus the stealth for me and add death field. beautiful freaking balance of force and lightsaber techs. sw is all slashing and sorc plays like some kinda dumb lightning mage. For me, the assassin is what a sith should be like.
  13. my build contains almost as much madness as deception and it's fantastic in my opinion. madness has some very good abilities at its disposal.
  14. stealth bar would be the follwoing. spike. end of necessary stealth bar.
  15. believe me a jugg tank will not be doing 80% of the damage as a dps assassin. I can assure you.

    Same old nonsense

#WoWrulesapply inSWTORfail I'd like to see your sorc last long against my assassin; you don't get to cc him before he's in melee range First off, don't play pvp if you're below 15, your advanced class just isn't developed enough. playing as a melee tank you really need to pvp with some people. taunt, guarding, and blade ward get some nice pvp points and keep damage away from your pvp buddies. damage wise, if I recommend getting your offensive lightsaber form if you want to do solid damage as the melee tank class.
  17. if you go deception, you wanna put three points in charge mastery to get the armor penetration bonus
  18. yeah if you play it like some kind of stealth rogue character in WoW you won't succeed. later on, stealth will get more important but its mostly just for force regen and positioning yourself. personally, I think the non-stealth obsessed assassin will play much better
  19. I don't think so but haven't had enough time to test it in early access. if you get devour in the madness tree it will increase
  20. Unfortunately he's right. for burst dps damage and especially for pvp it seems to be better to go up the deception tree. However, I'm not a fan of stealth and it isn't too stealth dependent for me at least. For example, In pvp and pve I use stealth specifically to set myself up for a good maul and in pvp I use my force cloak to get away from enemies when I'm in a battle I can't win. Other than that, I'll rarely use stealth at all. 95% of fighting is non stealth. I personally went quite a few points up the deception tree and went and got death field in the madness tree to give me another long range weapon. someone can come up to me without stealth and I can still beat them. It is nice to be able to dissapear and then stab them in the back though. If you plan on not using stealth at all, you're going to be weaking the class but not nearly as much as you fear.
