  1. I love a good laugh. Most likely, you yourself took advantage of this exploit and are just trying to divert attention away from yourself. Good try.
  2. A few minutes ago, I engaged in an Alderaan Civil War Warzone aiming to achieve the <Alderaan Civil War: Punching Bag> achievement. After the match was over, I saw that I took well over 100k damage but I did not receive the achievement. Anyone else experiencing this same bug? Thank you.
  3. Enough with these threads, really people. If you are going to take the time to post something silly at least have the decency to search to see if another player asked this question already. If you are new to MMOs and don't understand that eventually as time moves on content that was paid for in the past becomes much cheaper or free... well you should now understand this as this has been explained ad nauseum by folks trying to be helpful. If this is not your first game... seriously, why are you posting?? We get it.. you spent $10 for an expansion 7-8 months ago, you feel cheated. Yes, that small majority of people who received cartel coins as pretty much a refund for their recent purchase of Makeb have unduly benefited. (sigh) There, now can we please focus on other non-whiney topics so the mods can quit wasting their time reviewing these silly threads and focus on the ones with legitimate issues, questions, concerns and hopefully a new topic by Sir Copperfield (yes, I am a fan).
  4. After having spent nearly 2 1/2 hours in a level 55 HM FP, my group decides to call it. Why we called it? To start off, the lag was terrible. We couldn't even chat, moved like snails, and kept dying due to this. Next, the mobs are absolutely terrible. I dont think I have died any quicker on my 34k tank than this patch. Not only am I getting pounded, but the dps and healer are nearly getting 3 shotted by TRASH mobs. Say what? My next point brings up a very good question. As of 2.0, they brought back four old flashpoints and just made them harder and added new mechanics. Cool right? Wrong! These flashpoints are a little sad. The programming that is behind these boss fights are nonetheless disappointing. Adding mechanics to boss fights to make them "harder" is sometimes not the way to go. Especially when the so called "new mechanic" bugs out and prevents a group from completing the said flashpoint. So, my question is, " How are these "new" flashpoints fun and exciting?" The simple answer to that is that they are not. I should not have to spend 150 minutes trying to complete a flashpoint due to a bugged mechanic and wiping 22 times because of it. I do not call this fun and neither did my group members. It is just a bugged mechanic that is preventing people from completing the flashpoint. Now, I dont mind HARD boss fights that are doable. Essentially, they help you grow as a gamer and lets you appreciate the rewards of having fought and won against a particular boss. HOWEVER, when people are not able to complete a flashpoint and not able to complete the quest or get loot, there is an issue. Especially when we had invested as much time as we did to actually try and beat this bugged boss. I am not one to complain but this is utterly ridiculous. I am not logging on so I can bang my head against a concrete wall with these "new" flashpoints. I log on to enjoy the game and progress with my characters and therefore, grow as an individual and player as I work with others. These flashpoints have defiantly taken my interest from doing them and a little from the game because of it. Let's just think of the many people out there that que for said HM FP'S and are just not geared for it. Is it fair to them that they cannot do it? Is it fair to the rest of the group that they cant progress because of one person? Of course NOT! However, you can't just tell someone that they cant come but rather have to suffer through all of the wipes for the time being. My point is quite simple. Bioware has taken after "Burning Crusade". Just like in WoW, this expansion's dungeons were a lot tougher. However, they were doable and rarely were groups held up due to bugged bosses or non geared people. I believe Bioware made these four new flashpoints just a bit to hard. Granted, if this difficulty level was released mid 2.0, it would be doable. Not the beginning though! This is sadly just the first major flaw in this patch. A few others would include exploiting pvp, confusing gear, same storyline, and incorrect balancing of classes. 1. Exploiting PVP - If you went into a warzone naked, you're stats would be unreal good. Really? No gear and owning geared players? 2. Should I buy this set or this set? They are both the same "level" but have way different stats. Wait, why am I losing so much of (stat) if im getting the best gear avaliable? 3. I understand that implementing class missions for every class would be a little hard to do in this stage of the game. However, I believe they could have done a little better job of making it so a person with several toons is not falling asleep on his keyboard because of the repeating quests. Maybe make some of the quests that were available class specific? I really dont know. All i know is that after doing all of the quests twice, Im not looking forward to grinding them out for a third time. 4. This issue has been around for the longest time. Juggs rule, all else drool. I dont know about you, but seeing 8k smash crits just fills my day with joy. I like to think that I am being killed by someone who is pressing one button. Kudos man! This is a fun game, but they really have been making some iffy decisions. I am not trying to put this game down at all, but these issues need to be addressed. I really dont want to look at these past three hours and feel as if I wasted them. I have stayed loyal to you Bioware for sixteen months, and this is what im getting? Bugged flashpoints that you cant complete and issues not being fixed or just addressed? Now, dont get me wrong, I enjoy this game wholeheartedly. However, a few aspects of this game just really get me going. I want nothing else than for this game to thrive and actually have the support of the community. I believe Bioware can regain this trust but not by this. Releasing 2.0 was a step, but not a jump by any means. It gave us new content that was completed in roughly six hours by some people. Sixteen months for six hours of a new expansion? Well... okay... maybe.... like... decrease.... xp... gained? Make people grind dallies? Do FP'S for xp, not just gear? Some say level 54 was a "hell level" but honestly, it was far from it. Anyone play Everquest? Come on Bioware, you can do it! Show us that you care and actually address these annoying bugs that have been prolonged. Cure this doubt we have and bring back the fun that this should be! Thank you.
  5. To all the complainers, You guys have yet again impressed me with you're stupidity. Have any one of you actually played the game at launch? Are you even paid subs? I am reading hysterical posts about people quitting raiding due to the increased repair costs. Yeah, the repair costs are now about 10k each. However, the cost to repair at the launch of this game was a lot higher. Let's not mention the harder it was to grind credits since the game was brand new. I understand the constant grind of dallies gets old, but unfortunately that is what has to be done. If you want to progress in raiding, well you are going to have to put some extra time into making the money. This game is attracting more and more of the "entitled" people who believe they should get everything for free. This is quite evident in this forums ranting about a decision that Bioware decided to implement. If this increased repair costs makes you complainers that angered or upset about how this game is being run, then please feel free to cancel your sub. You are not entitled to anything except access to play the game. Bioware does not have to give away free stuff. Bioware does not have to produce updates as quickly. Bioware does not have to come up with fun new world events. They simply do not owe you as a customer anything besides making sure the servers are avaliable. To you F2Pers. they owe you absolutely nothing. Playing this game for free does not mean you get the same stuff that $15 a month subs do. Cant hide your head slot? That is what you get for paying not a single dime to play this game. Please stop complaining about this game. If this game is as bad as many of you say it is, why in the world are you still logging on? There are many useful things to do then to play this game. Learn to view things in a positive way, not a negative way. Useful tips or corrections are always preferred over "your game sucks."
