I soloed a Star Fortress on my commando with a lvl 25 comp. It was hard, but possible. I tried the same thing on a sage with equivalent gear and lvl 27 comp and found it to be almost completely impossible. I tried every combination too. When I went healer, my tanking comp wasn't killing adds fast enough and we got overwhelmed. Healing spec with a dps comp didn't work because I simply could not keep my comp up through the damage. Balance spec didn't have enough direct dps to burn waves of skytroopers and got overwhelmed. Telekinetics came closest, but still couldn't stay alive long enough to get the job done since the comp heals are almost worthless now. My opinion on the comps before this patch was that they were pretty OP at lower levels, but came close to balancing out at high levels. Now they work fine in low-mid levels, but are very underpowered at higher levels. Definitely more balancing needed.

It makes no difference. My patch finished a while ago and the game won't even launch. The loading screen appears for a second or two, then the client closes and an error pops up. Your patch finishing won't make you any more able to play the game.

I'm not entirely sure where to post this, so I'm playing it safe. I played the Shadow of Revan story up through Rishi, then left to go through KotFE. Now that I'm level 65, I want to continue the story, but can't figure out how or where to pick it up. There's nothing left on Rishi, but there's nothing when I go to Yavin 4 either. I can't seem to find the storyline mission anywhere. Anyone know where I should look?

This has been going on for a while now and Bioware seems perfectly content to pretend it doesn't exist and to say nothing about it on any media. I can only assume they don't care.

I've done The Esseles, The Black Talon, and Hammer Station. In each one, all of the artifact loot has no stats. The prototype loot is normal, but the artifacts have no stats, and no slots for mods aside from a dye/crystal slot. Am I missing something or is this just a bug?

Oh, I'm aware of that. Oddly enough, text doesn't make much of an impact on my sensibilities. Actually seeing the people I'm torturing isn't as easy to ignore.

I primarily play the Republic. Maybe working in a hospital for almost 5 years has given me a bit of a hero complex, but I really feel uncomfortable being an overt jerk. On the flip side, I want to reach full Dark Side 5 on my Sith characters, but still be able to make whatever Light Side choices I want when the alternative makes me feel unclean. My solution was to take up Diplomacy and use it to farm Dark Side points. I'm only about level 20 right now, but it appears to be working. Did I have a good idea or do most people see this as cheating the system?

I have two Mission Discovery: Slicing that require level 250 in the skill. My current level is 275, but it still says that I can't use them. Is anyone else having this problem?
