I wouldnt say that the augments are useless. I sell the purple ones on the GM for good credits. Some of your purple ones will bring around 80k sometimes. The blue ones dont seem to sell well. Ive tried bringing the prices down low, but people really only want the purple ones. I can blame them. Thats all I would really look for. However, I can never find crafted crit gear to use my own with. I have been saving a purple +28 cunning for my smuggler for 15 levels and havnt found any worthy gear to use it with. ( no gear at all to use it with ) The GM has been baren on my server. Mandalore the Indominable.
Look for implants.. JK companion doc crits pretty often on biochem crafting.. I'm wearing purple crafted implants, with purple augments, make them myself, and found the augments too.

What's space have to do with it? The ship is obviously Air-tight, we're not wearing pressure suits.

It depends on when you join. I've been on the speederbike for the full ride 30-40+ seconds? Even after the game started.
I think that might the case of someone having left a "Lost" voidstar match, and you getting added in the middle of the fight.

Empire turrets don't tick faster.. the turrets just start out pointed at the Republic ship.
When the Republic caps a point the turret guns have to change direction to shoot at the Imperial ship.
It's a poor design, the turrets should start out pointing centerline.
There's a workaround.. Republic sends 3-4 to cap east (imperial) turret. 1-2 to cap west (republic) turret.. the other two in mid to delay mid capture, possibly capture it themselves..
We've sent tank/healer mid, tank/healer west. and 4 others east.. started out with a 3 cap.. and made it hard for a flip to occur.

that speederbike is over before the battle starts.. there's a different reason if you're starting combat with only 3 people out of the starter area...
I'm consistantly jumping against the wall waiting for it to open.

it would be a great random element.. champion space spiders that attack if you disturb a web...
or maybe hiding behind a door.. released when it's blown...

a jet that randomly sprays - fire/acid/healing bacta/buffs/speed....
on triggerspot.. but you never know what you're gonna get...
that would be a gamble..
am I gonna get healed, or die?
pull the ball handler hoping for damage, instead it heals him, or speeds him up.

I was just told that there is NO orange belts for Sentinels in the game at all. Is this true?
There are no exclusive medium armor orange belts for JK, but there ARE Medium armor Orange belts that we can wear, as well as bracers.. they're just rare

Trolling has multiple meanings, there's the internet troll, which I believe you're thinking of, also it means to "travel an area where the subject you seek is known to frequent".. ie trolling for fish, or for prostitutes.

I noticed something strange about my lightsabers and wondering if anyone can explain. Both my lightsabers have exactly the same mods except for the hilt. When I remove the hilt both have the same stats.
When I put the hilts in, one has +12 Strength/+15 Endurance and the other has +15 Strength/+10 Endurance. The one with +12 Strength has a base damage of 99-148 while the one with +15 Strength has a base damage of 88 - 132. This is same regardless of whether it is main hand or off-hand.
I am thinking the base damage is a function of the level of the mod and not the stats. If this is true then it seems like having a higher level mod that does not necessarily have the stats I want might be better than a lower level one that does have the stats I want. Can anyone shed some light on this?
The damage of your sabers is determined by the "Level" of the hilt.
A Might hilt 12 won't do as much damage as a Guardian hit 15. they have different "Levels"

if it's crafted it's from Biochem.
looking at the link you provided, it says clearly it comes from biochem.

Part of Biochem is Stims/adrenals.. medpacs and group medpacs..
at higher levels you can make reusable versions of all of those, which require biochem to use..
so, permanent stims/adrenals.. and reusable medpacs.. seems to be the only things that require biochem.. implants you can buy.

You have compared raid drop to 3 slot orange piece of armor ?
That's my question as well.. we don't know what's there in the operations.. whether the "Loot" is mod-pieces (which is my guess), and perhaps unique appearance custom items..
I would expect high quality mods, high end crafting recipes and materials, with some rare Custom outfit pieces.

Well, After seeing the list of servers that are approaching absolute population caps, all I can say is that I'm glad I didn't jump to "The Fatman"....

Yeah, the critical question at endgame will be if you can critically craft orange gear, so that it gets an augment slot. If that isn't the case, the whole moddable gear system breaks down and we'll get the clone army other games have.
Pardon, I mean "had", because even the developers at WoW finally recognized how much a lot of people hate being forced into all wearing the same endgame sets and so they invented the transmogrification system.
I recommend posting concerns about appearance customization in this thread. Before launch, we had accumulated 25.000 posts on the topic there, over the course of 1 1/2 years. I just restarted it on the forums a few days ago, but it gets buried under the avalanche of complaint posts we have right now.
See. I see it differently.. the moddable armor lets you do your min/max for endgame, but choose the aesthetic you want, essentially you can look completely different from a player of the same class, but have comparable stats..
I'm pretty sure that mods will be where the "gear progression" comes in.

There is also the potential to *crit when crafting an orange (custom) schematic..
That would be a nice place for an augment.. essentially giving you a free mod slot, in addition to the normal 3 in armor.
New patch and server maintenance at peak time?
