  1. To answer your question. No I don't expect a totally free expansion or game, that would be wishful thinking. What I would like to see is the same business model that they already have in place. If you are Free to Play then pay a one time fee for the expansion. That's it. It is what I did for Shadows of Revan, Rise of the Hutt, and Starfighters. What I'm reading through the posts is it looks like I will pay $15 bucks for a months subscription to get 9 chapters of an incomplete story. Then when the next chapter is out, if I want to play it, another $15 bucks. If chapters come out on a monthly basis (which I doubt) that is $15 bucks for an episode. If they want to go the episodic route it should be a much smaller price threshold for each individual episode culminating to a bundle at the end of it, like the current trends are from Telltale Games and game devs like them. This is sounding more and more like some contrived way to get people back to being subscription only. I don't think it is the best way to go about it, and if I had to put a finger on it I would guess this was coming from EA and not Bioware.
  2. My current toon is a healer and I've queued for hours waiting for a group. I should point out that I'm not lvl 60 and that could explain the reasoning behind the long queue, but my main is a lvl 60 tank so I know the "waiting game". People are too busy trying to level as fast as they possibly can but I think that bringing back these rewards is the first step. I believe they also need to make the exp worth while. I remember when SWTOR was first released and there were people speed leveling by doing nothing but the space missions just so they'd be over leveled for the more "annoying" planets (Alderaan, Quesh, etc.). Perhaps Bioware could implement a tiered Exp boost system for FPs based on how long you stay with a group in/through the Group Finder system?
  3. I had to come and post after reading an article from IGN about the "11 things we need to know about KoTFE" and their 1st point which kind of shocks me, if it is accurate. IGN states that according to Bioware the expansion will only be playable to subscribers. Period. Yet, I don't see that being stated anywhere on the KoTFE webpage, and I didn't hear that type of announcement during E3. So I wanted to ask, what is going on? Is IGN correct and I was misinformed? Or is it the other way around? I know that the website states it will be FREE for subscribers. I must say that if it is true and the Expansion is only available to those who are subscribers then I don't see the point in playing any more. It is a shame, and as a free to play player I know I am going to hear a lot about "well you should just pay them monthly", and yet I am frugal and can't. I still drop some cash from time to time in the cartel market but if what IGN states is correct then they have lost a customer. Here is the IGN article : http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/06/23/e3-2015-11-things-you-need-to-know-about-star-wars-the-old-republics-knights-of-the-fallen-empire-expansion
  4. I have to agree as well. Having cross server queues would probably make a noticeable cut in the wait times. What I'd like to see is an option to choose to queue and play Ops on different difficulties (Story Mode, Hard Mode, etc.)
  5. With the new Expansion coming and the level cap raising again, I see a lot more people rushing to get to the new content as quickly as they can. I understand that the "Tactical Flashpoints" offer some group content in the widest way possible by being available to those from lvl 10 - 55 being grouped together. Unfortunately, there is a good number of Flashpoints and Ops that are part of the old story that few play, like myself. Unless they are in a guild or something that supports it, I find myself queued for hours waiting for a FP run that never happens. What I would like to see is the idea behind the "Tactical Flashpoints" (either boosting a low level players skills, or nerfing a high lvl players stats) and allow a large player base to play the Story Mode, or Hard Mode, of the original Flashpoints and Ops and not have to wait till max level when the system will group the old ones as lvl 60 Hard Mode runs. To allow High level players to still use Group Finder and queue for Flash Points that right now, would be closed off if you are in a specific high level group; Athiss, Red Reaper, etc. I understand that it is risky but this game is really fun when played together and I feel that many are missing out on it. So I would want to have a more expansive Group Finder. So, what ideas or improvements would you make to the Group Finder if you were the developer in charge of it?
