This is all funny and just plain silly. I know tons of Battle Masters who did not trade in Ilum, I see the same group of people in the war zones whether it is imps or republics. I know who is good and who is bad by their name. I did not pvp just to become Battle Master, I pvped because I enjoy it and I believe it makes me a better all around player in pve and pvp. Battle Master only means to me I can get a different gear set, I see alot of Battle Masters anymore and think this new system will be great for more competive pvp. btw the Valor rank goes to 100, Battle Master is just 3/5 of the way to the end goal. I am only Rank 62 Valor with no trading, But I do not have any alts and in my free time pvp with guildies or others from the same Server. Too much time? I look at it as very cheap entertainment.

Champion War Leaders gear is almost always far superior to Tionese. You are not always sacrificing endurance for expertise, its generally Expertise for crit. I lost health going from Champion War leader Lightsaber to Rakata War Leaders Lightsaber the difference is really minor. I still have a Mixed set of Battlemaster war leader gear / Rakatta gear and have no issues with Hard modes. DPS I have 90% PVP gear mostly Battle Master and hold my own and have been very successful in Nightmare modes. As a previous poster said, I also have Tanked HM Flash points as Rage spec, sometimes just swapping into some tank gear for the health. Flash points are not to bad with people who know the fights. All in all my recommendation would be to learn the fights and how to effectively tank them, ie positioning/threat generation, the gear will come and if you do well people wont care what your wearing. I would recommend if your new to tanking on every boss use your taunts like they are part of your rotation.

I play a few hours a day and more on the weekends. I am at lvl 59 Valor, so ~ 45 matches till Battle Master rank, But I think that's when it really begins a new pvp grind. I do Ops with the guild a few days each week, with us last night completing KP and EV on Hard mode. Things I need to still do in my limited free time. Companions affection, got 1 to 10000 and my second at 7500/10000 with the rest really lacking. so their rep and then stories. Space Missions, I skipped them entirely and have been enjoying doing them occasionally. Gear for my companions, My main companion has been getting good use out of all the centurion tokens, since I do not need any cent. gear for myself. Crafting is maxxed but still could learn more epic quality recipes. Since a lot of low quests are not able to be abandoned, I have been enjoying slaughtering them as well. I have not done any dailies besides the pvp/ops ones so I could always check them out. I have a few weeks more of these things before I start to get bored.
