  1. One match, we hadn't scored a single goal after 10 minutes or so. Finally, I had the ball and was about to cross the last fire trap towards scoring (lower ramp). As I try to sprint across the last trap, I get stunned right on the trailing edge of it. I had about 50% health at this point, with a few enemies close behind me. My CC break was on cooldown, so I couldn't get out of the stun. The fire trap starts to warm up. I couldn't easily tell if I was in or out of the fire, since I was really right on the edge. As I quickly tried to move my camera closer to vertical to tell if I was about to get fried, a teammate sped past me towards the goal, reached the bottom of the ramp, and stopped. Since I thought I might be about to get toasted, I start ramming the pass button for when I come out of CC. Immediately after the fire trap turns on, I come out of stun and successfully pass the ball right to the guy at the bottom of the ramp. The catch? He was in stealth. Also, I ended up not being in the fire, so I probably could have just scored it myself. Not only did the invisible teammate berate me for the mistake, but one of the opposing players started calling me his 'friend' -- implying I was playing for their team. Bad day for frogdogs everywhere.
  2. Looks nice. I'd suggest posting it in the sticky at the top of the forum so Slaign can add it to his guide. The only inaccuracy I see is the fact that a T1 item (Redoubt/Critical/Overkill) can be an Artifact (purple) if the base item is a Prototype (blue).
  3. On windows 7, c:/users/<your user>/AppData/Local/SWTOR/swtor/settings Note that the AppData folder is usually a hidden foler.
  4. I noticed in my client_settings.ini that anisotropic was set to 16x after the patch. I set it down to 1 manually in the file, and am back to pre-patch FPS. Alternately, the guide in the CS forum instructing you how to let the game regenerate the .ini file also worked on a different machine with similar problems.
  5. As I recall, they did not show up in the vendor tooltip--just after you bought it. I'm at work right now, though, so I can't re-verify that.
  6. Great thread; props to the OP for keeping it organized and updated. Here's some suggestions to address a few things that have annoyed me recently with the vendors (specifically the pvp vendors): Add the ability to sort by slot on vendors who sell multiple types of items Add the ability to preview set bonuses before purchasing an item Add either a sell-back option for an accidental purchase, or: When listing by the "only show available" filter, when the available list of items changes due to an item becoming too expensive, add a 3 second delay before another item can be purchased to prevent accidental purchasing on rapid right-clicks.
  7. Bravo for finding/knowing that one!
  8. If I understand you right, you've gotten 3 of the 4 Tier 2 prefixes from reverse engineering your Redoubt recipe. I presume you're looking for the fourth one, Veracity (defense/shield). There is no limit to the number of purples you can unlock on one recipe--you will eventually get the 4th one. Just keep in mind that the game may try to teach you a variation you already know, so it will be harder to unlock the 4th one, since you still have an equal chance to re-roll one of the first three (which will fail and give you nothing since you already know it).
  9. As far as we know, once you get the Tier 2 schematic that says [superior], that's as high as you can go. Of course, there's no way to really prove that, so continue at your own risk of wasting resources
  10. Based on what I've seen of my own items, plus searching the GTN just now, this definitely seems to be correct to me.
  11. You're half right... If the base item is blue, you can get a "better" purple from REing the T1 (purple) into a T2 (also purple, and "better"). However, the T2 items are always labeled "Superior", and the T2 critically crafted items will always be labeled "Mastercraft". This is the same regardless of if the base item is green or blue. Hope this helps.
  12. Leadership comes from Critical, not Redoubt, hence why it has less defense, more critical, etc.
  13. I keep searching the market to see if someone randomly has one up.. and I'll be able to find about 8 of the prefixes on any given day, but never the mysterious missing one. I'll keep looking though P.S. If anyone feels like they can make a better graphic, I can provide the source images; my skills are rudimentary at best .
  14. Alright, I give up. I cannot get that last Redoubt-tree T2 recipe. The rest weren't that bad, really, but I've spent probably 12 hours farming mats to try for that last unknown recipe. Unless I see otherwise, I'm assuming it's bugged or something. Once again, here's the 14 I got to match his flowchart: http://oi42.tinypic.com/23r1rgm.jpg
