The whole system should be scrapped. I personally never see a point to these "cookie cutter" crafting systems. The item you make can be made by every other player with the same skill. So it just boils down to who undercuts who on the Market. Bring back the crafting system from Star Wars Galaxies, where you could mix and match different value mats to create something better.
