I am still sticking with what I have said in the past. All that is needed as of right now is a global LFG channel it is activated at LVL 10, make it so you cannot link gear in it.

I am also a ex wow player and was around when dps x and healing x was just starting and I for one hope that SwTor keeps it in house. They can add the ui change so we are able to customize it like shown in the video of up coming stuff. I do not want them to release the means to make 3rd party mods as I do not want to have to update every time a new update comes out. Mods should be the last thing on their minds when coming to a game like this they need to fix the flashing that only happens in outside worlds for starters.

The reason for this is since each world has a lvl range most people will be spread out pretty thin. On the server I am on, Hoth only has tops 15 ppl but if I go to the starting areas I will see over 100 people. People are still lvling, what really needs to happen is a cross world, NOT server, world LFG channel that is active when you hit level 10.

I am not even going to read any further this sums it up perfectly. I am a lvl 46 pure speced healer and have no issues doing quests, in fact I think it has helped me pass some quests that are harder as I can just heal my companion tank. Unlike other mmos where healing speced completely sucked for questing SwTor hit it perfectly allowing healers to level as a dps since the companion does a lot of damage if geared correctly.

I am still at work but I will say that since beta I have had zero issues with SwTor I even upgraded from a GTX 295 to a GTX 570 2gb and haven't looked back. I am curious to how many run ATI/Nvidia and how many have UAC turned off and are running with no firewalls or antiviruses installed, not disabled not installed at all. I have zero issues, it leads me to believe that hard drive or windows in some way is causing all the issues everyone is having.

Sounds like to me that they need to be logged in so alts won't work adding to friends list. The ones that have friends logged in, I would try having them right next to you in game right click on the portrait and select add player as friend in the menu and see what happens.

I have leveled with the complete healing tree and my tank companion so far and I am level 39. I kill stuff pretty fast and at lvl 34 you get a aoe spell which is pretty awesome. I have no issues with elites and or multi mobs as a pure healer spec.

I am guessing this is lvl 50 stuff?

I read almost all pages but I would of hoped people at least consider the fact that the game has been out for not even a month. Also WoW had since 2004 to grow, give this game that same amount of time and it will grow also.

I only read the first page of this thread but I wanted to give my thoughts on this. Really all that needs to happen is a global LFG channel that turns on once you get the fleet. With a global LFG you can ask in a lfg channel that hits all worlds. Make it so it only activates once you hit the fleet section so that way you don't have spammers. For people that do not like a LFG channel they can disable it. The current LFG is terrible as it only is for the world you are on it seems like which is pointless when someone is on a world that is 10-14 and your on the fleet station. This is all that really needs to be done. Travel in this game is pretty fast already so no need for a lfg tool that takes you to the flashpoint as they are all pretty accessible to all levels.

I have been asking this question for so long. I have a GTX 295 and we all know that it is SLI in one card. The thing that I have a issue with is shadows, when there are tons of trees and I have the shadows on high and it deeps to the low teens. Once I am out of that area I get 60 all the time as I have vsync on. I have overclocked it the best I can but still have the shadow issue. They say to wait for the 600 cards but if a gtx570 is better ( don't mind the 50% extra) then I would buy it but a lot of people say wait. I am on a i7 920 12gb ddr3 triple channel pc 1600 gtx 295 x58 mobo 320gb sata 850w cyberpower psu

I agree 100% Edit: I wanted to add, mods are not really needed. If they gave complete control over the ui and added basic macros like mouseover etc it would be a step in the right direction. mods can hurt or make a game.

no idea what you mean by a extra 20$, I pre ordered the standard addition on the 27th of Nov and input my code into the website the same day I got the code. I got a email at 12:03 today the 15th saying I am able to get in.

Nov 27th got a email at 12:03 (12/15/11) saying my saga begins WOoghoo

11/27 my guess would be Thur of this week. Up to 5 days before and since they let people in on the 13th the up to 5 day part stops on thursday.

I put in my code on 11/27 I guess Thursday for anyone that was near Dec. I read other forums that people are able to get in and the never got a email. My guess however is it is in there spam folder.

Check spam folders probably was put there.

All you need to do is allow swtor.exe in webroot and it will bypass it and not even scan it. In Fact you should do that for all your games as webroot will slow them down.
